The Devil Wears Prada 2

Morning
Okay, I had every intention of writing a proper campaign recap of "The Devil Wears Prada 2" — I am literally the target audience, I was in the media business 20 years ago — but the deeper I got, the more I realized there was no recapping this thing. They did it all. Talk shows, multiple Vogue covers, the Oscars, screenings on screenings, global premieres in what felt like every fashionable city. Collabs, partnerships, I genuinely could not keep up.
And when your audience is this big and this broad, you have to go big. They went big. It's gorgeous. It's polished. It's exactly what a campaign for this movie should look like.
The thing I kept waiting for — was a little more of the high-low that fashion itself is so good at. The high gets you noticed, the low keeps you grounded. After a while, shiny red carpet photos and perfectly coifed appearances start to blur. But the moments where they did mix it up? Chef's kiss. Some of my favorite stuff in the whole campaign.
They'll be #1 at the box office, the team clearly put in absolutely insane hours (and probably don’t want to see a pair of high heels for awhile)! There's a lot here worth stealing for your own campaigns. If I had a marketing Pinterest board, these would be on it……
