PALM ROYALE (APPLE TV+) - This week, we’re celebrating / covering the dreamy “Palm Royale” press campaign from the Apple TV+ PR team, agency partner FerenComm and Kristen Wiig’s team. First, we have to give 👏 for the layers — they embraced the ‘60s Palm Beach ethos, tapped into the fashion and design, and made the whole campaign feel fresh and modern! Kristen was on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter, had a hilarious presenting bit at the Golden Globes and her buzz-worthy return to Saturday Night Live. Kristen Wiig and Carol Burnett were iconic together from their NY Magazine feature to the Paley Center Screening and Q&A. The cast and producers walked the pink carpet world premiere (and award for most beautifully designed step and repeat?!). There were press junkets galore with over 100+ press outlets. And fun appearances on The Late Show, The Tonight Show, TODAY Show and Watch What Happens Live (to name a few!). They leaned into the fashion with Carol on the digital cover of Harper’s Bazaar, Kaia Gerber in WSJ Magazine’s women’s fashion issue, and Ricky Martin in GQ. They tapped into the creative genius of costume designer Alix Friedberg with interviews in Harper’s Bazaar, Refinery29, and Vogue. Then Friedberg partnered with the luxury consignment store The RealReal to curate an edit of “Palm Royale”-inspired pieces. And Anthropologie partnered with the streamer to curate a show-inspired exclusive line. After this campaign, we hope the team is celebrating with Grasshopper cocktails!
