The crime-thriller is based on James Patterson’s best-selling novels and centers around a homicide detective and forensic psychologist who face a sadistic serial killer. TIMOTHEE CHALAMET LOOK-A-LIKE CONTEST - Like most of you, we saw the the Timothée Chalamet look-a-like contest, the viral story spreading like wild fire. With pictures of the real movie star showing up for fans. It was heartwarming and contagious. We were intrigued by the maestro, a YouTuber Anthony Po, so we did a lil deep dive, read about how he executed it, how he got thousands of kids to show up, his previous viral Cheeseball man stunt. If your goal is to create viral moments, then you gotta examine them. Here are a few takeaways for you marketing lovers:

Networks & Studios - skip high-end experiential companies and hire genius marketing creators.
Flyers - what is old feels new again. It’s the simplicity of the flyer & Q&R code. The neighborhood event, postcards in the mail. Those feel more impactful as our digital world gets cluttered.
Partiful - we didn’t know about Partiful, but after going down a rabbit hole, we’re embarrassed to admit that (“its vibey and very Gen Z–coded”). Anthony collab’d with them, so if you’re hosting a big public event we’d reach out to them too.
Fun - can we bring back this type of fun in-person mktg stunts? Not screenings and Q&A’s and please for the love of god don’t try to do a look-a-like contest too, but lets be wildly creative in our activations. From the turnout at this event, it feels like what people are craving.
