Issue 12.18.23

Welcome to INTERVIEW HUB!

As we ramp up to our official launch, we’re sharing the entertainment industry’s most anticipated TV & film premieres and highlighting new media outlets that we’re obsessing over. We’re hoping this little teaser campaign gets you excited for what’s to come! In this issue, we highlight:

🧑‍🎨 Black Swan Key Art
📖 Animated education
📰 the WSJ of YT creators

🦢 FUED: CAPOTE VS. THE SWANS (HULU) Ryan Murphy dropped the stunning key art for FEUD: Capote vs. The Swans. This glamourous and swoon-worthy key art has us dying to see the these six stars Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Chloe Sevigny, Calista Flockhart, Demi Moore and Molly Ringwald together on-screen. Will it be Murphy’s next magical Emmy-hit? We think so, so make sure it’s on your radar for interviews!

🎾 BACHELOR (ABC) On the heels of the buzzy “Golden Bachelor,” we’re in LOVE with the key art for the Bachelor’s return on Jan 22 with the tennis theme and “Game. Set. Match” tagline. We’re here for the tennis puns and the fans clamoring for Joey on insta!

💔 ORIGIN (Array/Neon) Do us a big favor and watch this trailer! It’s heartbreaking and beautiful and is about "the unspoken system that has shaped America and chronicles how lives today are defined by a hierarchy of human divisions." Origin is inspired by the remarkable life & work of Pulitzer Prize winner Isabel Wilkerson and hits theaters January 19. We think everyone will be buzzing director Ava DuVernay and stars Aunjanue Ellis as Wilkerson and co-stars Jon Bernthal, Vera Farmiga, Audra McDonald, Niecy Nash-Betts, Nick Offerman, and Blair Underwood.

🤣 SELF RELIANCE (HULU) Jake Johnson already solidified his rank as a comedy genius on “New Girl,” but in his latest project, Self Reliance, he’s taking it one step further writing, directing and starring in this comedy gem. Debuting Jan 12 on Hulu, Tommy (Johnson) receives an invitation to win $1 million by playing a game where he must outwit hunters attempting to kill him. He realizes the hunters can only attack him when he's alone, but none of his friends and family believe the game is real.

🧠 SMART NONSENSE (YouTube, Newsletter) With millions of YouTube subscribers, Dylan and Henry share animated and smart nonsense via YT and their newsletters. They take simple questions like “Why do men lose hair in the same spots?” and break it down via these hilariously simple animations. We think a Family Guy or Human Resources collab with these guys would be killer. At the very least, a smart sponsorship.

👬 COLIN & SAMIR (YouTubers) With over 1.4M subscribers, Colin & Samir are YouTubers who specialize in the business of YouTube and the creator economy. They sit down with all of the top YouTube stars and interview them on their business, subscribers, studios, and brand deals. Think of them as the WSJ for the creator economy. If you rep a big YT’er, they would be a perfect pitch!
